Economic Growth is essential to produce jobs and capital in our cities. Every person seeks to live their dream with the assistance of financial security. Our goal is to increase economic opportunities in the 4th district.

Small Businesses – According to the Small Business Administration, 2018, small businesses accounted for 99.7% (30.2 million) consisting of 47.5% of the workforce (58.9 million employees). It is essential that we continue to assist small businesses grow by providing the right tools required at the right time. Some advantages assisting small businesses are:

  • Create a mentorship program for small businesses to receive advise on how to operate their businesses optimally.
  • Create financial education that can assist to make informed decisions.
  • Create partnerships with local educational institutions to provide entrepreneurial strategies.
  • Provide strategic planning resources that are not complex.
  • Create stronger relationships with the Small Business Administration.

Let’s move forward with effective regulation. I urge you to come out to the Republican Primary to VOTE! Economy - Retirement
jpnNgYJ

About 57% of American workers do not have a retirement plan. Yes, there is social security that we put our money into, but it does not have the same growth. Your social security monies are placed in low risk treasury bonds that their value increases with interest, meaning, very low return of your money. Also, one does place their monies in social security, but that does not mean one will get to live to the retirement age. Ok, do not want to be a downer here, but in 2017, the United States recorded 2,813,503 deaths, leaving us something to think about if we will see the monies we place in social security. Do not get me wrong, this is a good benefit to have and should not be removed.

What I am proposing is that everyone should be an investor to yield higher returns by having a 1% mandatory retirement fund extracted from an employee’s paycheck by an employer sponsored retirement plan (no employer matching, this is based on what businesses can afford, remember, 99.7% are small businesses and we do not want to break them because then we all lose our jobs). I understand that no one likes to be told “mandatory,” but keep on reading, it does get better for you. If an 18-year old person in Florida makes minimum wage of $8.46 per hour:

Social Security Tax:6.20%
Medicare Tax:1.45%
Mandatory Retirement:1.00%
Total Tax:8.65%
Weekly Gross Wage for 40 Hours$338.40
Weekly Retirement Contribution$3.38
Total Annual Retirement Contribution$175.97
At 10% Compound Interest in Large Cap Retirement Plan$17.59
Total Annual Retirement (Year 1)$193.56

After some calculations, these are some results:

  • At 1% contribution: If minimum wage goes up steadily at 20 cents a year until possible retirement age at 55 (38 years) with 10% compound interest, an individual would have earned about = $85,416.18. This is the bare minimum. As time passes, a higher percentage can be contributed that can increase the number.
  • At 3% contribution: If minimum wage goes up steadily at 20 cents a year until possible retirement age at 55 (38 years) with 10% compound interest, an individual would have earned about = $243,023.73
  • At 5% contribution: If minimum wage goes up steadily at 20 cents a year until possible retirement age at 55 (38 years) with 10% compound interest, an individual would have earned = $400,631.28
  • At 10% contribution: If minimum wage goes up steadily at 20 cents a year until possible retirement age at 55 (38 years) with 10% compound interest, an individual would have earned = $794,650.15

There is plenty of growth opportunities for these types of retirement plans for both employees and their families. With investments, not everyone knows or really cares about it until they see it, and this new bill proposal would create the awareness that people need to transform people into investors for the best interest of their financial future. An additional component that not many are using a lot is time, time can be our friend if we know how to plan. Key items required for growth with investments are:

  • time (will be our best friend)
  • amount of income (certification, education, and job position, makes a difference for more earning potential)
  • contribution amount (the more you contribute at a certain point in your life, the more possible return of investment, but one needs to do it early to take advantage of time)

This plan would benefit all of us. This is money one does not expect and does not have to worry about it growing. The money goes into the investment and the investment grows leaving no action on the employee’s part. Time can be our friend if used wisely.

Economy - Growth Strategies

The goal in our district is not to just create jobs, it should be to create industries. There are big corporations developed in other cities and it is time for our district to become leaders around the United States. In our district, we have talented people with amazing ideas that can create bigger economic opportunities while being socially responsible. Future areas to grow are:

  • Increase Cruise ships in the area such as: Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean.
  • Create unique entertainment experiences to attract more tourism.
  • Increase financial investments presence to companies around the country.
  • Provide subsidies for production companies to film in the district.
  • Enhance our ports to increase commerce that will eventually lead to Jacksonville being a major hub in the southeast region.
  • Provide subsidies to major car companies to have a plant in our district to increase jobs.
  • Creating tech hubs for small businesses to build mid- to large businesses.
  • Improve downtown Jacksonville around the sports grounds to attract more attendance and tourism. We need to have another Super Bowl back in the District since are long overdue (first and last 2005). Further, we need to enhance our entertainment area to host the event with the vision of hosting numerous Super Bowls in the next 20 years.
  • We have the Jacksonville Jaguars and we will strive to attract other major league sport teams. We have plenty of room in the district to house more sport teams.
  • Expand healthcare facilities with specialty clinics.

Public Safety

Expansion of public safety programs are critical in our way of life. Through its people, technology, and innovation, the 4th district can reduce crime levels for people to focus on their dreams.

To identify what we need, we have to identify what the current problems are. Crime and drugs continue to plague the district and more in some areas. Human beings are good in nature, but what drives them to conduct criminal offenses? At times, it is lack of love and opportunities. Improving our streets will require a coordinated tactical effort to focus on workforce, community relationships, technology, and pride in community. My proposed plan is to:

  • Increase our law enforcement workforce presence. I plan to gather data from the Sheriff Offices on how much personnel they require to achieve a strong presence in volatile neighborhoods, and moderate presence in less volatile neighborhoods. Law enforcement will monitor and analyze to be flexible to concentrate tactical efforts in the appropriate areas.
  • Another investment for our district is to incorporate prevention technologies to detect firearms within a perimeter in conjunction with automatic alerts to law enforcement. The technology would identify if there is a threat of someone carrying a gun around a specified vicinity, which would be extremely helpful in our schools and other large populated areas. This would also assist in safety for all if law enforcement ahead of time knew if someone is carrying a firearm to better handle the situation by communicating well with the person carrying the weapon and preparing mentally if something dangerous could happen. The technology will interface with central command and other law enforcement cruisers to stand by close to assist in the situation. The technology will heighten law enforcement readiness and increase public safety.
  • Create entrenched community partnerships with law enforcement. I mean, REALLY create the partnerships, as some areas do not receive enough support due to not enough Officers. Our Officers are professional and dedicated, but cannot be everywhere at every point in time. We need the communities to be involved along with working effectively with law enforcement. A key ingredient would be to have dedicated law enforcement officials working closely with community partners, as the community partners need to feel the continuous support. Remember, only law enforcement can arrest people and/or fine them, other supporters do not have the authority, but can help out in other ways.
  • Start more neighborhood watch programs in communities. This will create more buy-in from residents and alert criminals that people are watching to steer them away.
  • Assist communities in having facial or license plate recognition cameras that interface with law enforcement databases. The systems are not that expensive per year and yet, they are good crime prevention tools. The cameras have to detect during night time and durable against attacks.
  • Strong recruitment in law enforcement in “rough” neighborhoods. People want to help, but may not know how. More recruitment in local areas provides an advantage for dedicated citizens to be more involved in keeping their communities safe and increase communication channels while supporting safe neighborhoods.

The idea in all proposed ideas are to prevent crime rather than it happening. There are too many ideas on “after the fact” when a crime is committed. The evolution of law enforcement for the 2020s is to have preventative measures to avoid crime from happening. The ideal number of crime is 0%, and we will strive with these proposed measures to get to that number.

Additional funding can come from:

  • Federal Grants
  • Fundraising (Events, Festivals, Dinners, etc…)

Remember, we are a well-informed society, but criminals are not that smart as some may think. They only proceed if they find opportunity that they will not get caught; meaning, they take the path of least resistance. As lawful citizens, we can do the basics to prevent small crimes such as theft. With other crimes, as citizens, we can be watchful and not follow the same lifestyle patterns, as some do watch us without us knowing. But why do they do people commit crimes? At times, it is lack of love and strong family structure, and exposure to other productive opportunities. My goal is to bring back that love into our families by supporting their public safety needs with effective bills. Our return of investment with improving public safety is for families to focus in their unit and offer the love their families need. With that internal love, there is a strong probability it will reciprocate into society creating safer neighborhoods we can be proud to walk at any time of the day. Families need assistance, and I am here to fight to give them that assistance through effective law enforcement tactical presence and support.

I will share one experience that opened my eyes. During my 2 years in Atsugi, Japan near Tokyo, I was shocked to see children taking the subway to school by themselves going to school. Children and adults walked around without being harassed or bullied at any time of the day. My curiosity got the best of me and I needed to find out why. I learned that the strength of the family unit flowed into society; The Japanese practice a disciplined culture and this discipline resonates inside and outside the home. While I understand that we are the United States of America and not Japan, but the principle can still flow well, as we are human beings that  are entitled to the same feelings of safety. Our goal should also be to be able to feel the freedom to walk around safely, knowing that our loved ones will come home safely, isn’t that a great feeling? Let’s work together to make this happen so that our loved ones can grow old together safely.

Not every person seeks violence or wants violence because most people are peaceful and want to live their lives that way. However, there are some “bad apples” out there who try to take advantage of that, and that is who we will stop from imposing their violence on innocent and loving people. Crime will not be tolerated!

Military

Our military is loved and cherished in our American way of life. I cannot thank the men and women that take up arms to defend us enough. Our district provides a home to 2 major southeastern bases in conjunction to assist NS Kings Bay, Blount Island, and other facilities. Our goal is to continue to strengthen our military with viable resources for our men and women to bring us "wins"! Military funding will be increased for quality of life and increasing military readiness for uniformed services and federal workers.

What needs further improvement is the military healthcare system and the Veteran’s Affairs (VA). There is too much waiting time for our military to be seen in facilities that careful review of these assets are in order. Two of the committees I seek to be part of are the Armed Services Committee and Veteran’s Affairs. In these committees, I plan to make substantial improvements to our military, veterans, and retirees. I remember when I first entered the U.S. Navy that I was seen right away. After 2009, the system changed that even while on active duty, I waited a long time to be seen and then get back to my military duties. This impacted all of us and our operational readiness. After retirement, this was also an impact; therefore, our system needs improvement to receive quality care at a reasonable time frame.

The Veteran’s Affairs also has room for improvements. My goal for both areas is to review, revise, and improve efficiency and effectiveness in the military healthcare system and Veteran’s Affairs. Our service members, veterans, and retirees deserve better, we owe them so much to preserve our rights and freedoms we enjoy every day.

Other areas that I plan to review, revise, and improve are:

  • Military Housing
  • Military Pay (Believe it or not, I used to get paid $250 every two weeks back in 1996, yikes!)
  • Military Retirement
  • Personnel Rotation Systems
  • Military Warfighting Resources
  • Defense Policies
  • Technology Assets

Our military has a proud tradition to defend our nation and we must equip them well for success. Our culture and attitude is unstoppable; let’s do the same to work for them in support of their valuable missions.

Education

It cannot be stressed enough how important education is. The way for people to change for the best is through education. In our human history, those that want to have dominance over others restrict K-12 educational opportunities. There are some countries still to this day that restrict K-12 education and do not fund education at all.

The 2020s will provide our children with more opportunities to earn their diplomas, certificates, and degrees so they can have the opportunity to earn more wages. A change to push is to have degree programs to include industry recognized certificates every year they are in high school and college. The workforce wants people to demonstrate skills to perform quality work, and these certificates will demonstrate the skills people possess. Also I want work with businesses to require these skills because our customers want quality; this this is a circle of servitude with the end goal for everyone to win. What I am proposing is:

  • Every year a student is enrolled in the 11th and 12th grade, they will earn a workforce certificate. This will supply a student with skills that employers want to offer the student a higher wage that is above the minimum wage (everyone likes a bigger paycheck, but one has to show proficiency to employers to earn more pay in return; better productivity will be provided to customers that may pay more).
  • The college curriculum needs revisions to contain information leading to industry certificates. Every year a college student is enrolled in college, they will earn an industry recognized certificate. About 70% of college students have a job while enrolled in college. If they have industry certificates, they can earn higher wages that would help pay their student debt faster and can afford to have a better quality of life while finishing their degree program.
  • Implement at least one personal finance or business course as a general elective in middle school, high school, and the first year of college. This course would be recognized as a mandatory course to take. According to various research sources, about 71% of Americans do not know how to manage their finances and/or create a budget. The reality is, we can increase minimum wages to $15 to $100 an hour; however, if people are not educated on how to manage their finances, they have a strong probability to continue to live paycheck to paycheck. I am proposing more education in this subject for our people to make sound financial decisions on how to manage their paycheck.
  • Increase healthcare programs and course offerings in state colleges. Healthcare is a profession that continues to increase according to the Department of Labor. However, state colleges do not have enough space and faculty to approve more student applications. In some college programs, degrees can be completed online which allows more space to increase healthcare student acceptance. This is not reviewed closely on the need of the industry, so we need to make this a priority, as our population has a critical demand for quality healthcare professionals.
  • Since the family unit is the core of our society, there are other people who have a role in the lives of our families. A critical profession in society are teachers. Our teachers are LONG overdue for proper compensation for helping to teach our children and also provide discipline in their lives. Let’s reflect on this, while we were growing up, didn't we listen and admire our teachers? It is a strong probability that we made teachers a critical part in the lives of our children. So why we do not compensate them well and take them for granted? We need to change this, as our teachers deserve better since they are an extension of the family unit. Our children learn from them and they use that learning to be better members in their families. Increasing teacher pay is long overdue and my team will fight for our teachers!

Something to think about, as our people develop more skills, we will build a stronger hub for businesses to come to our district and pay our workers more, or we build better industries with a higher skilled workforce, many opportunities! End goal will be to create an economic stimulus for everyone in our pristine district.

Family Medical and Leave Act (FMLA) for Mothers:

Family values should be at the core of our district. A vital role in our society are our mothers. Our mothers go through numerous challenges that we should help them to create a solid family structure in our society. One issue that decays our family unit is the lack of funding in the family. Women account for 47% of the United States labor force and those that want to have children will need those paychecks in full.

My proposed plan is to strengthen FMLA law for mothers to receive 100% of their paycheck while on maternity leave. Not every business funds our mothers 100%, as the law is not robust to that point, which is not right for our mothers as they build our future generations. I am proposing that businesses purchase better insurance to fund maternity leave for mothers for at least 26 weeks at 100% of their pay, and that insurance companies provide businesses with effective plans to cover their employees. Our mothers and children deserve better, as this is a crucial time for a mother and child to bond and grow strong as a unit. That unit will grow to increase our well-being in our society, we will receive a stronger return of investment in our society. The love between them will grow that will nurture a better culture, civility, and productivity. Eventually, we will move this goal for mothers to have up to 2 years of 100% paid leave. Some advantages to the enhancement of this law are:

  • Stronger family unit to not worry about finances that they will concentrate more on the growth of the child.
  • Some may want to enter higher education to take online courses that may not take a lot of their time. When complete, they will bring more skills at their jobs; thereby, increasing productivity.
  • Some may not make that hard decision of abortion, as some studies have identified that one of the major reasons for abortion is that they cannot afford the child.

Now, there will be some items to consider for businesses to provide this benefit. The latest data that came from 2017 revealed that the United States had 3,855,550 births. There will be some qualification criteria to receive this benefit. First, one has to be a U.S. permanent resident paying taxes or a U.S. Citizen paying taxes. Usually, a business will purchase insurance to pay off some of the wages, so to avoid a huge financial burden on businesses, businesses need to have a commitment from the employee for at least 1 year before the child is born to provide this benefit. The business can save the job of the mother until they return, or the business can choose how they want to fill that position for the mean time. Upon returning from maternity leave, the mother will need to sign a commitment to stay with the business for 1 more year, along those lines, businesses are not allowed to discriminate or force them out of their job. If a layoff occurs before 1 year, then the mother will not pay that back, as layoffs are not predictable and it is the business leadership’s responsibility to set stable financial strategy for their business. The Small Business Administration (SBA) can be trained to assist small business owners in this matter. The SBA is a valuable asset that most do not know it is there, they have always been amazing to help me out. My plan will also consist of gathering data to solidify a good process that will reap a win-win situation.

The increase of 100% paid leave will create a healthier society, we need to invest in our children that are our BRIGHT FUTURE! Everyone, we owe this to our future mothers, they are the cornerstone of our society, and we must treat them right, let’s work together to make this happen for our futures.

Immigration

With the advancement and readily available technologies, any country in the world can increase their own economy if they want to. The way immigration is viewed will be different in the 2020s, as there are global opportunities for countries to increase their self-worth. It is time for the United States to increase their strength in immigration reform and focus more on foreign relations to provide counsel to other countries by being a “good neighbor,” but should not support illegal immigration. A common reason for immigration is people seeking economic growth and security. Each country has the responsibility and opportunity to offer improvements to people, countries should not fail their people by not increasing their economic worth. The United States of America does not govern other countries, those countries do it themselves and they need to be responsible to provide those opportunities, as the United States does to their citizens. It is disappointing that the United States is being shamed when it is not their responsibility. The United States of America is not accountable for the world's immigration problems, each country is challenged to handle their own methods, and if they seek help to improve their country, the United States can work with them to increase their own system, but it has no accountability and should not be shamed for it. Immigration reform needs to be worked by both sides than play political "tug of war" and our congressional staff will work with lawmakers on any side to have the discussion to act for the best interest of the United States of America. The 2020s will bring more accountability for lawmakers to act, and we need to act soon on the reform for the best interest of our country and global partners. My proposed plan is to:

  • Fund homeland security properly with a workforce, technologies, and tactical barrier structures.
  • Barrier structures are necessary for directing people to our port of entries rather than lawless crossings. I will admit, I was confused about building the wall or other barrier structures at first, but after looking at the data, the direction of our economy, and potential for growth for global economies, the structures are required. Illegal immigration, “drug running,” and any other illegal crossings will not stop if we do not have a 24/7 barrier structure to remove those vulnerabilities. Also, those crossing the border illegally are skipping the line from others that are moving through the system legally. No one likes a “line skipper” and we will not reward them.
  • Provide ICE with more resources to do their jobs and strengthen their numbers and supply more jurisdiction.
  • Supply CBP with the proper resources and also have them focus on their jobs. They do a lot of things outside of their jobs, which some people in private business would complain that it is not in their job description, well, why should we do it to our fellow Americans working in CBP.
  • Improve asylum laws to fit those that really need it. We should be selective on which actually need it, as some foreign government countries can change their ways if they actually have love for their people.
  • Form tactical committees to assist countries that accept our counsel to reform their economy and government. Other governments will participate voluntarily, we will not force, as that is not what the USA is about to force people domestically and globally.
fm=f_93690

Not proposing we stop immigration, we just want people to come in legally. We are a country of immigrants, but those seeking to live in our country have to do it legally. The United States does not condone people breaking laws, we have to be firm to assert that our laws have to be respected. Other countries do have resources if their government wants to use them. Unfortunately, too many governments do not “REALLY” care about their people that makes their lives in their countries miserable. People in those countries need to come together to restore their governments, as most are corrupt and reduce the opportunities of their people and one area they have focused to reduce is education. Those governments do not offer public education, which has kept them in power by the masses of people not knowing how to take back their government. Critical reform is required in those countries for their people, but the United States of America is not to be accountable and we need to safeguard our borders for our people. In the United States, we care about our people and I plan to preserve that tradition to keep our borders safe for our fellow Americans. USA USA USA USA USA!!!

Healthcare

Reform for healthcare that lowers the cost to families will be a must for the 2020s. In this area, associated parties such as lawmakers, insurance companies, executive branch, and any other stakeholders need to start to discuss how to efficiently and effectively provide the right services for our people. A primary goal will be to have more jobs for people to join employer sponsored healthcare and make sure pre-existing conditions are honored. We will continue to fight to ensure healthcare is properly portioned for our people at a reasonable cost.

Advancing families includes promoting healthy families. Our families are more diverse than ever, and our healthcare system must adapt to our country’s needs.

Many of us have been frustrated by ever escalating healthcare premiums, excessive insurance deductibles or worried about unexpected out-of-network medical bills, denials for pre-existing conditions, and out-of-reach prescription drugs for life saving conditions.  People I speak with are surprised to learn there are many real solutions to these problems that I can help fix with your support.

I want to reform our healthcare system to increase affordability and access based on proven conservative principles like competition, private industry, and a limited but critical role for our federal government.

My plan promotes individuals and families having more freedom to choose their own providers in the free market for routine services, strengthening the foundational role of health insurers for major conditions, and providing a role for the government to ease access to those needing catastrophic care while removing regulatory barriers and special protections to drive down costs.

My fight is to ensure healthcare is available at a reasonable cost with protections in place to ensure concerned families have access to the best possible healthcare system and providers. What I support is:

  • I have proven experience working with diverse stakeholders and I will use this knowledge to improve the ability of insurance companies, healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies to work together to deliver integrated care.
  • I support making it easier for companies to offer employer-sponsored coverage including easing regulations for plans to offer health insurance coverage across state lines and small business insurance co-operatives to lower premiums.
  • I support changes to short-term healthcare insurance regulations making it easier for individuals and families to find affordable coverage that meets their specific needs while ensuring health insurance companies deliver on their promises of coverage.
  • I support addressing the critical shortage of healthcare professionals with tuition credits and strengthening and expanding the Public Service Loan Forgiveness programs.
  • I support addressing the opioid crisis plaguing individuals and families that is impacting the health of our communities
  • I am a proponent of expanding access to mental health services and recognize the important role this plays advancing healthy individuals and families in today’s society
  • I will make it easier for licensed tele-health providers to operate across state lines to increase affordable access to routine care.
  • I will ensure changes are done in a sustainable, fiscally responsible manner that will not burden future generations with soaring national debt
  • I will work to improve economies of scale and affordable access to prescription drug coverage particularly for proven preventative medications addressing chronic and acute conditions requiring future major medical care.

My proposed plan is:

  • Form tactical committee(s) to involve members in the insurance companies, healthcare profession, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare equipment providers, and other stakeholders to further discuss on how to bring costs down and accept people with pre-existing conditions.
  • About 47% of our population has an employer-sponsored healthcare insurance. We will increase that number to have more people at work, and make it easier for insurance companies to lower their premiums.
  • Possible subsidies for universities to lower tuition rates for healthcare professionals. Lowering this rate can have a domino effect for healthcare professionals to lower their service charges that would reduce insurance premiums.
  • Continue to strengthen Public Service Loan Forgiveness programs for private hospitals also. It does not matter where a healthcare student practices, what should matter is how much of a difference they are making in society. Private companies can also participate in loan forgiveness programs. The addition would allow more students to participate in this program since public hospitals are limited in how many can do public service.
  • Possible subsidies for healthcare equipment companies to conduct research and manufacturing of healthcare technologies to lower cost to reduce pricing to healthcare professionals.

Quality and affordable healthcare is what Americans want and with surgical movements, this can happen. This will be a continuing working process to offer the best possible solutions while not adding to our national debt.

National Debt

Brief history: the national debt on September 30, 1989 was at $2.89 trillion dollars. On January 20, 2009, the national debt was at $10.62 trillion dollars and by January 19, 2017, the national debt was at $19.94 trillion dollars, which brings us the most debt in a short period of time ($9.32 trillion dollars). The United States is in danger to accumulate too much debt beyond a point of return. My friends, we cannot keep moving down this road, we need more fiscally responsible lawmakers to reduce this debt. My proposed plan
is to:

  • Review and apply budget cuts on programs that are not efficient or effective.
  • Make laws feasible for employers to continue to invest and create more jobs for more people paying taxes. Reduce illegal immigration for people to be documented workers for people to pay their federal taxes.
  • Raise taxes on alcohol, tobacco, firearms purchases.
  • Advocate for lower interest rates to stimulate economy to increase tax revenue.
  • Form a tactical committee with banks and Wall Street to avoid having high earnings expectations of companies in an effort to punish them in the stock market. The stock market is a benefit in our economy, but it punishes companies that do not do a year-to-year earnings beat of 20% or more. Good companies have been punished for hefty and unnecessary metrics. A good metric should be year-to-year earnings beat, not 20% and over year-to-year earnings beat. The stock market and banks are not being fair, they are expecting too much that companies have to make adjustments to make their bottom line look pleasing to them that they cut jobs, as cutting jobs is the first decision unfortunately. Keeping more jobs and people employed creates more tax revenue, as workers’ pay more taxes than companies.
  • Enforce that other countries pay more for our defense in support of the strategic alliance. We have a $800 billion-dollar defense budget to manage and the way we have been doing business, we will end up bankrupt very quickly while other governments spend less in their military due to us paying that price while others reap the benefits. Ever wonder why all of these countries state they can provide free programs in their countries? It is because they don't pay for the defense since the United States is gracious enough to pay the bill. This cannot continue; every country will pay their fair share if we provide that defense. We need to get back to reduce our national debt to prevent bankruptcy.
  • Readjust federal programs to become pay for performance programs for better investment rather than just keep giving money without any returns. An example was when Roosevelt created the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) that provided jobs while the people performing a valuable service. We need to readjust programs that will create necessary work for a service.

Every month the national debt should be reviewed and monitored to ensure it is starting to be reduced. We need to reduce spending while creating more revenue to move toward being in the “green” again. My friends, we need to get a hold of it and continue to reduce it, as our children will feel it more along with the middle- and lower-income levels.

Let’s move forward with effective regulation. I urge you to come out to the Republican Primary to VOTE! 2nd Amendment

2nd Amendment Right:

The Second Amendment, first expressed in the Bill of Rights and later included in the Constitution, states that "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." In the 2008 case District of Columbia v. Heller, the Supreme Court held that the "Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home."

Our Second Amendment right to bear arms as citizens should continue to be upheld and never removed. Our fight is to “right size” gun laws for those qualified to possess them responsibly. We should not remove this right for anyone, a sound qualification process needs update, and identification of causes for gun violence should be a focus. We should seek to find the root of the problem to ensure that deadly weapons are not used to harm people, especially in our schools and other vulnerable areas. We will work with stakeholders to provide effective solutions to our people that will not deteriorate our way of life.

My proposed plan is to:

  • Form a tactical committee with stakeholders on best possible solutions to upkeep our 2nd amendment yet not increasing public harm. Working together will provide better solutions. This will take some time, but with robust public safety solutions such as concealed weapon technologies (See public safety issue), we will create more safety.
  • Create a federal law that every state requires a person to have a gun license.
  • Create law to require drug testing every 2 years for gun license owners.
  • Create law that every gun licensed owner must complete initial and recurring annual training, especially with firearm storage.
  • Create federal law for 3 day waiting period to conduct a proper background check and complete training before issuing a gun license.
  • Create law that local law enforcement shall supervise local guardian program. Citizens are strongly encouraged to create and manage the program with volunteers in their community if their social environment wants to help. Law enforcement will audit and supervise while citizens will create and manage the program.
  • Improve efficiency of citizen concerns to law enforcement with effective reporting procedures through advanced technology and equipped workforce to handle issues with "just in time" urgency to prevent gun violence.

The idea is not to restrict right to bear arms, it is for people to fully comprehend and understand accountability for possessing a gun. The solutions are to be right sized to avoid unnecessary harm to the public, yet upkeeping the right to bear arms amendment.

Right to Life

The Declaration of Independence declares that “certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Sadly, for too many Americans, these rights are never realized.

About 638,169 abortions were legally induced in 2015 and about 91% took place before 13 weeks’ gestation, which this number has been steady at 91% since 2006. About 58.7% of abortions occur from the ages of 20 to 29, less than .5% of abortions occur from victims of rape, and less than .01% occur from incestuous relationships. About 75% were from poor or low income levels, 62% were religion affiliated, and 59% already had one child.

Demographics:

White 39% 248,885
Black 28% 178,687
Hispanic 25% 159,542
Asian/Pacific Islander 6% 38,291
Other 2% 12,764
Total 100% 638,169

The numbers are surprising to read on how life has been spent. The law has been set since 1973 on what terms dictate the right to choice and right to life. I am not proposing to change the law of the land, as the law is set. This law can be viewed as a compromise on either side, and moving that target is a disservice to our communities. In this issue, there are two sides: women's choice and right to life for a baby. Either one is precious in our society. With my campaign focusing on families and effective regulation, those numbers shall be lowered. Our focus is not for children just to be born, but also for parents to have the “means” to take care of the children to be productive members of society. I will continue to listen and propose that more children will have a better chance to be born, and my goal is always prolife for our women and babies. I am prolife except in the case for rape and incest victims. The statistics show that there are less cases of this, and with proper regulation focusing on the family unit, the goal will be zero tolerance for any rapes and incestuous relationships. My campaign will continue to research on reasons why some choose abortion to create solutions to bring more prolife decisions.

U.S. Flag and History

Our flag is beautiful and represents strength of every American. It is the cornerstone of our democracy and should be treated with respect. I have defended our beautiful flag all around the world. The flag is a representation of freedom, liberty, democracy, fairness, strength, growth, sustainability, courage, endurance, honor, truth, advancement, and future.

As of the moment, our nation is under attack because of the removal of our historical monuments that have been around for decades. It is understandable that our country has gone through some tough times to refine identity, but our constitution has been our beacon of light. Removing historical monuments is not the answer, some monuments are around to remind us of horrific times our country faced, and we should remember never to go to those eras. Our founding fathers were not perfect, they had a vision to move forward toward perfection. They gave us a great gift of having a country where our freedoms can be respected. Removing the monuments is a defeat in our history and democracy. I will continue to fight to not remove any monuments so that we can preserve our history. The monuments are a representation of the past to remind us what not to become again. Our country has moved forward strongly after the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and we have made great strides from then more than ever before. To state we have gone back is not accurate, as more people enjoy the freedoms and liberties and they are happier to be productive, which has made our economy the strongest in the world. If we were moving backwards, then we would be heading into the depths of Venezuelan calamities, which we are not. We move forward when we are strong together and I propose to continue that path of success for every person regardless of race, ethnicity, or any difference. This is a country formed by the people for the people, and it is a role model and beacon of hope to the world that its people valuing democracy works. Many other countries would like to see us fall. Most know they cannot take us head on and try to use guerilla or terrorist warfare to divide us, but that is not going to happen. We are too strong to fall and united we will overcome any odds.

If we research history, history does repeat itself in different ways. The division in the United States that is more clear today is a reminder of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire enjoyed many successes in every aspect and was the most powerful army the world has seen in its time. Its enemies could not fight through their defenses head on; therefore, the only way to break the Romans was internally. With numerous unnecessary quarrelling, the internal structure of the Romans began to crack and over the decades, it got worse that eventually its enemies found vulnerabilities to overtake the empire piece by piece then it confiscate its resources by force taking them to their own countries leaving Rome naked and afraid. In the end, the Roman Empire fell leaving nothing to its people and the second Dark Age in our recorded human history started. Europe was disarrayed being lawless and leaderless. Now imagine, what would happen if the United States would fall through the Roman fate of implosion? How would the world look like? How many countries would laugh and go rogue to bring carnage around the world? It seems that some enjoy the quarrelling and lack of forward progression that would bring the United States to its knees. There is lack of nationalism and patriotism in pursuit for the right direction in the United States, which is concerning. Radical ideas with socialism want to take us into the direction to bankruptcy and the poor house, which my friends, we should never head in. The United States of America is a prosperous country because of its people with the best interest to proceed in the pursuit of happiness. Any policies that do not lead us in this direction would make us fall violently. NO SOCIALISM!!! My friends, we are smarter, stronger, and too dedicated to fall into the pit of lies. Let us move forward with effective policies, regulations, and laws to make our country stronger than ever. A big WIN for our country is to preserve our history and continue to learn to get better. Our country and flag is strong, May Old Glory continue to fly for eternity!

Environment

We will continue to defend our environmental needs to preserve our planet for our future generations. Our methods have been improving throughout the decades, and we can see it with the technology and resources we use. Our team will strive to continue to include "right fit" laws to preserve our valuable environment. A call for environmental reform by any side is required with sound unbiased research to meet those goals. My proposed plan is to:

  • Form environmental committees to work together in pursuit to find effective and efficient environmental solutions.
  • Create a sound “right sized” budget for research to provide unbiased recommendations.
  • Create programs to have the public involved in their environment. In this goal, we need to have “all hands on deck” to do their part in their area.
  • Review and implement up-to-date cost effective technologies to monitor water, soil, and air pollution levels.

American Dream

Our founding fathers gave us the opportunity to create an American Dream as we want it to be. Can you imagine living in their time on how many challenges they dealt with to win their rights and freedom? It is amazing the challenges they overcame during arduous times, they are awesome! I am very thankful to them for me and my family to reap the benefits from their sacrifice, and we must never forget, and be grateful to them. Their labors would never be forgotten regardless of how the other side portrays them. They are patriots and heroes in my book and I will strive to preserve the American Way of Life that they taught me to our fellow Americans. The American Dream in us is powerful and we must pursue it and deter from socialism, communism, and any other ideology that would hinder our dream. Let us keep working together in pursuit of our American Dream, it will always be strong because we are strong. Let not socialism, communism, and any other ideology implode our system because we are stronger than this, and we will overcome those ideas that will bring our way of life down. Let us stand together to VOTE to defend our freedom, rights, and American Dream! LET FREEDOM RING! LET OUR AMERICAN DREAMS BE BIG!
